Messika Supports Girls’ Rights at Run for Girls!
On Saturday, October 3, 12 Messika employees came together with a shared commitment: to support girls’ rights by taking part in Run for Girls, the annual charity run organised by Plan International France.
A day combining sport and solidarity, driven by a shared commitment to making a difference.
Organised every year by Plan International France, Run for Girls brings participants together around an essential cause: advancing girls’ rights around the world.
Funds raised through the event support the NGO’s programmes dedicated to girls’ education, protection and empowerment.
For this year’s edition, 12 Messika employees joined the 1,500 participants taking part in the event. Everyone could choose their own challenge: a 5 km walk, 5 km run or 10 km run, allowing each participant to take part at their own pace while supporting the same shared cause.
Throughout the event, the Plan International France teams were also on hand to speak with participants about their work and the situation of girls’ rights around the world.
A day of solidarity, sport and collective commitment, also marked by a strong performance: one of Messika’s runners finished in 13th place.
