800
people died from hunger in the Omaheke region during 2023–2024, including a significant proportion of San children.
100kms+

The initiative supported by the Valérie Messika Foundation
The Valérie Messika Foundation’s support aims to fund the construction of a classroom for the San and Epukiro communities at the Epukiro Lifeline School in Namibia. The project provides children with sustainable access to education in a region where school infrastructure is limited, while also funding two teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
