“Women, their place in society and their independence have always been at the heart of my life.
As an entrepreneur, as a mother, I know that this place is never totally acquired. Determinisms are still strong and prejudices are unfortunately numerous.
By launching this foundation in 2021, I wanted to go further and take concrete action. I am convinced that by helping women in need on the ground, and by making education for young girls a key factor in their emancipation, we are helping to build a fairer society, in which everyone can imagine their future more serenely and without limits.”
Through this foundation, Valérie Messika hopes to help create a society that is more tolerant, more inclusive and more open to the world. As the mother of two little girls, she is keen to set an example and show that the field of possibilities is infinite for women.
Driven by a desire for jewellery with a fashion accent and a disruptive vision of diamonds, the Founder and Artistic Director created her own jewellery house in 2005. She has reinvented diamond jewellery, with its strong symbolic value, into an ultra-desirable and original fashion accessory that women treat themselves to and that gives them extra confidence. Messika celebrates and encourages women in all their plurality and diversity, to be free and independent.
